American Health Information Technologies, LLC is a privately held corporation founded in 2004. We were one of the first pioneers dedicated to helping rural healthcare practices and hospitals transition from paper to electronic patient records. All of our staff have clinical experience to ensure our solutions actually work in real world settings.
In 2008, American Health IT became the first vendor qualified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to report quality data for providers in the quality program originally known as the Physicians Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI), then later as the Physicians Quality Reporting System (PQRS), and finally today as the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Our early work with CMS helped define the role of a qualified registry and drew heavily from our expertise in handling clinical data. Those long-standing relationships with CMS’s QPP group continue to benefit our clientele when issues or questions arise in the course of their MIPS reporting needs.
